About Castle Electric, INC.

Castle Electric, Inc. is owned and operated by Jim Prescott Sr. and Jim Prescott Jr. Castle was founded in 1997 in Norwood, Massachusetts by Jim Sr. and the business has grown exponentially over the years due to the company-wide commitment to exceptional service and quality.

Though Castle Electric is led by father and son, the crew has varied in size over the years, at one point employing over 15 people. Currently, we have several crews in the field and are growing to meet the high demand throughout Eastern Massachusetts.

We have built our business around our solid partnerships in the construction industry and amazing repeat clients. We are extremely thankful for the years of service we have been able to provide and we are looking forward to many more years of top-notch work!

James Prescott Sr., President

Jim Prescott Sr. has been in the electrical trade since entering as an apprentice during his high school years. He has accumulated years of experience in the trade and truly has become a master electrician.

He is a father of two, his daughter Michelle and son Jimmy. When he is not spending his time at the office, he volunteers and helps to run the Christ Church youth group in Needham, MA. Through this organization he has been able to travel to help with Hurricane Katrina cleanup and several other mission trips, as well as helping rebuild homes for those who need them. He is also now into Crossfit as well!

Jim C. Prescott has been in and out of the electrical trade since he was 14 years old. He grew up around the trade and was taught to work with his hands at a very young age by his father, Jim Sr.

After graduating from Newton South high school, Jim went on to earn his B.A. in Entrepreneurship from Suffolk University in 2009. Since then Jim has jumped right into his role as Operations Manager. When he is not at Castle Jim loves to play hockey, do Crossfit and participate in triathlons.
